Privacy Policy
This policy covers the WordNest Jr: Learn New Words iOS app and wordnestjr.sakshamvirmani.com. WordNest Jr is made by independent developer Saksham Virmani. The app is designed so a child's learning activity stays on the device.
The short version
- We do not receive a child's name, answers, progress, reading history, contact details, or advertising identifiers.
- There are no accounts, ads, behavioral analytics, tracking, chat, or social features.
- Lessons, stories, audio, and progress work offline.
- Apple handles purchases. RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase information only to validate and restore access.
No child learning data is collected
Nothing a child does in the learning experience - including answers, words learned, stories read, streaks, or creature growth - is sent to us. The app requires no account. A child nickname may be used to personalize the experience, but it stays on that device. The app does not ask for a child email, photo, location, or contact information.
No advertising or tracking
WordNest Jr contains no advertising, attribution, behavioral analytics, or tracking SDKs. We do not create advertising profiles or track people across apps or websites. The app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission because it does not track.
On-device storage
Learning progress, creature state, and settings are stored locally. We keep no server copy. Deleting the app removes that local learning data, subject to the device platform's normal backup and restore behavior.
Purchases
WordNest Jr offers an optional auto-renewing subscription through Apple's in-app purchase system. We never receive payment-card details. RevenueCat processes anonymous Apple receipt and purchase information, locale, and currency code on our behalf so the app can validate and restore access. WordNest Jr does not send RevenueCat a name, email address, advertising identifier, child activity, or learning progress. Read RevenueCat's privacy policy for its practices.
Parent gate
Subscription controls, settings, support, and external links are placed behind a simple math parent gate so children cannot reach those adult areas unsupervised.
Children's privacy
WordNest Jr is designed for children ages 5-8 and is intended for Apple's Kids Category. We collect no personal information or learning activity from children. If you believe personal information was provided unexpectedly, contact us so we can investigate.
Data retention and deletion
Learning data exists only on the device and can be cleared from the parent-gated settings or removed by deleting the app. Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase records according to their own policies so subscriptions can be validated and restored.
This website
This is a static informational website. It uses no analytics, advertising, tracking cookies, forms, or user accounts. Fonts and images are served from the same website.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated effective date.
