Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 22, 2026
This policy covers the WordNest Jr: Learn New Words iOS app and this website (wordnestjr.sakshamvirmani.com). WordNest Jr is made by an independent developer, Saksham Virmani. The app is built so that it does not collect any personal data about you or your child. This page explains exactly what happens — and what doesn't happen — on your device.
The short version
- The app collects no personal data from anyone — child or adult.
- There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no chat or social features.
- Everything works fully offline; all progress stays on your device.
- The only optional purchase is a subscription handled by Apple through its in-app purchase system.
No data is collected by us
We do not operate any servers that receive information from the app. Nothing your child does inside WordNest Jr — answers, progress, words learned, stories read, creature growth — is sent to us or to anyone else. The app requires no account and asks for no name, email, photo, location, or any other personal information.
No ads, analytics, or tracking
WordNest Jr contains no advertising and no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software development kits (SDKs). There is no ad network, no behavioral tracking, and no "tracking" as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
Everything stays on-device
All learning progress — words learned, stories completed, creature stage, streaks, settings — is stored locally on your device only. We keep no copy, so there is nothing for us to retain, share, or sell. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Purchases (Apple in-app purchase)
WordNest Jr offers one optional auto-renewing subscription, purchased through Apple's in-app purchase system and governed by Apple's own terms and privacy policy. We never see or store your payment details. To help manage subscription entitlements, the app may use RevenueCat, a service provider that processes purchases on our behalf; if used, RevenueCat receives only anonymous purchase-related information (such as an app-generated random identifier and Apple receipt data) needed to validate the subscription — never your child's name, activity, or learning data. RevenueCat's privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Parent gate
Areas intended for adults — the subscription screen, settings, and any external links or email — sit behind a parent gate (a simple math question) so that children cannot reach them unsupervised.
Children's privacy (COPPA)
WordNest Jr is designed for children aged 5–8 and is offered in Apple's Kids Category. We collect no personal information from children (or from anyone else), so there is nothing for a parent to review, delete, or refuse consent for. There are no chat, messaging, or social features, and nothing a child does in the app leaves the device. If you believe the app has somehow collected personal information from a child, contact us at the address below and we will address it promptly.
Data retention
We retain no data, because we receive none. All app data lives only on your device and is removed when you delete the app.
This website
This website is a static informational page. It does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and it has no forms or accounts.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for example, when purchase processing via RevenueCat goes live — the updated version will be published at this same address with a new effective date.
